Rajendra Singh Parmar

My name is Rajendra Singh Parmar. If you are ever near Rani Station, you’ll find me on the Mokhampura Road in Desuri. It’s a busy location because of the trains coming and going. You can hear the whistles and the announcements if the wind is blowing the right way. Mokhampura Road has a lot of movement, with people coming in from the surrounding villages to use the station. My place is right in the thick of it. It’s a simple building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just my workspace. I’ve been here for several years now. You get used to the noise of the traffic and the people walking by. I try to keep a routine, starting early before the midday heat gets too intense. Rani Station is the main landmark for anyone trying to find me. Sometimes I take a walk down the road to get some tea and see what’s happening. The local shops are all run by people I’ve known for a long time. We help each other out when needed. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find high-tech offices, but it works for what I do. I deal with a lot of local folks who are just passing through or living nearby. It’s steady work and it keeps me busy enough throughout the week. I like the energy of the station area and the road.
