Pujvendra Tak

You can find me in Sojat City, specifically over by the Pali Darwaja. This is an old part of the city, and it has that classic feel of a place that’s seen a lot of history. My work as Pujvendra Tak happens right here in this busy neighborhood. The Pali Darwaja area is always full of life, with people moving through the gate and vendors set up nearby. My space is pretty modest. I don’t have any big glass walls or air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just a room where I keep my records and meet people when they need to talk to me. The walls are a bit old, and the floor has some scuffs, but it feels like home. I spend my days mostly sitting at my wooden desk, dealing with whatever comes up. Sometimes the cows wander by outside, or a loud motorbike goes through the Darwaja, and you just have to pause for a second. It’s a slow but steady kind of life. I don’t use any complicated systems to run things. I just use my notebook and my phone. People in Sojat know that if they need to find me, this is where I’ll be. It’s not about being the biggest or the most famous; it’s just about being reliable in my own small corner of the town. The heat in the afternoon can be tough, but a cup of tea from the stall nearby usually helps me get through.
