Pooja Sale

Pooja Sale is located on Mandia Road, and we’re quite close to Kaluji Ki Bagichi. Most people use the bagichi as a landmark when they’re trying to find us for the first time. It’s a busy road with a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. Our shop isn't very big, but we try to keep it stocked with what people need. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get more than three or four customers in at once, but we make it work. The shelves are packed pretty high, and sometimes you have to move one thing to get to another. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. We know most of the people who live in this part of town by name. We don't have a website or any of those fancy digital tools. We just write things down in a big ledger and keep track of everything that way. It’s worked for us so far, so we don’t see a reason to change it. The air gets a bit still in the shop during the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of fans going full blast to keep the heat away. It’s just a regular local business. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just want to provide what we can and make sure we’re still here tomorrow. It’s a simple way of living, and Mandia Road is a good place for it. We’re just glad to be a part of the neighborhood.
