Jai Machinary Store

You can find us on ITI Road in Sardar Patel Nagar. It is a good location because of all the technical activity around here. The store is packed with machinery and tools. We have everything from small hand tools to bigger equipment for workshops. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of variety. The shelves are wooden and look like they’ve seen better days. We don't mind. They hold the weight. Most of our customers are students from the ITI or local shop owners. They come in looking for something specific, and we help them dig through the bins. There is a lot of iron and steel in here, so it has that metallic smell. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that rattle. It is a straightforward shop. We write down the sales in a notebook. Sometimes we have a chat with the neighbors while standing out front. The road gets busy during the middle of the day. We don't do anything flashy. No big sales or loud posters. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. If someone needs a part we don't have, we try to tell them where else to look. It is just how we do things in this neighborhood. It is honest work and keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
