Panna Lal Ramesh Kumar Choudhary

We've been around Mill Gate in Jodhpur for a while now. It's a busy area, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the businesses near the old mills. My name is Panna Lal, and I run this place with Ramesh Kumar Choudhary. Most people just know us by the sign out front. We handle the daily tasks that come up, mostly dealing with people from the neighborhood who drop by when they need something specific. It isn't a fancy setup or anything, just a solid building where we keep things organized and wait for the day's work to start. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we are used to it by now. We don't spend much time on the computer or making big plans, we just focus on what is right in front of us. If you walk past the gates, you’ll see us there. It’s a family-run kind of thing, passed down or shared between us, and we take it one day at a time. The heat in Jodhpur can be a lot in the summer months, so we keep the fans going and stay busy with whatever orders have come in. It’s a simple way to make a living, and it works for us. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and everyone pretty much minds their own business while helping out when it's needed. There’s always something to move or a ledger to check. We just keep at it and don't worry about much else.
