Pankaj Dave

My name is Pankaj Dave. I have been around Badi Barhmpuri for a long time now. My place is at number 20, right by the Somnath Temple. People around here know me. It’s a quiet spot most days, but gets busy during festivals. I do things here every day. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular room where I get my work done. I started doing this a while back. Sometimes the noise from the temple comes in, but I don't mind it much. I mostly handle whatever comes my way. If you are walking near the temple, you might see the door. It’s just me and maybe one other person helping out sometimes. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. I like keeping things simple. Most of the folks who come by are from the neighborhood. I’ve lived around here most of my life. The building is old but it stays cool in the summer. I usually open up early in the morning. I stay until the sun goes down or until the work is finished. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Nothing too complicated goes on here. I just try to be helpful to the people who need it. That is pretty much how it goes. I sit at my desk and look out at the street. Sometimes it's dusty, but it feels like home. I hope to keep doing this for many more years.
