Narendra Singh Songara

Ranakpur Sadari is a place where things move a bit slower and that suits us just fine. Narendra Singh Songara is what we call the business and it has been sitting in this spot for more years than I can count on my hands. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. Instead we just keep the doors open and let the natural light in. Sometimes a bird flies in and we have to chase it out. The desks are made of heavy wood and they are covered in all sorts of notebooks and pens. We don't spend money on shiny advertisements because everyone in Sadari knows where to find us if they need something. It is a simple life and we like it that way. In the mornings we usually start with a cup of strong coffee while we look over the tasks for the day. There is no big boss telling everyone what to do. We just know our jobs and we get on with them. The walls have some old calendars hanging on them and the clock on the wall loses about five minutes every week. We just adjust it and keep going. It isn't a perfect setup but it is ours and we are comfortable here. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in off the street or answering the phone when it decides to ring. We don't use computers for everything because sometimes paper is just easier to handle.
