Mohd Ayub

Our workshop is at Keriya Darwaza 82. If you know the area, you know it can be a bit of a maze, but we like being right in the middle of it. Mohd Ayub is the name on the front, but there are a few of us here helping out. It’s a small space, mostly filled with tools and materials we use every day. We don't have much room for a lounge or anything like that. We spend most of our time standing up or moving things around. The floor is usually a bit messy by noon, but we clean it up before we head home. It is honest work and it keeps us fit. We don’t spend money on advertising because we mostly get work from people passing by or folks who have known us for years. The building at 82 has been there forever, and we’ve made it our own over time. We have a small radio that plays in the background while we work. It’s not a place for fancy meetings or suits. Most of the time we are wearing our work clothes and have some grease or dust on us. We just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them without any drama. It’s a simple way to live, and it works for us. We’re just here doing our thing day in and day out.
