Mahendra Singh Kumpawat

Mahendra Singh Kumpawat is based out of Shanti Nagar in Azad Colony, over in Bali. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the bigger cities nearby. We’ve set up our workspace here because it’s where we feel comfortable. There isn't any corporate polish or fancy stuff here. We have a few desks, some chairs, and whatever equipment we need to get through the day. It’s a very local operation. We know the people in Azad Colony and they know us. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit or the water is a bit slow, but we just deal with it and keep working. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone who walks through the door. The work speaks for itself, mostly. We show up in the morning, open the doors, and get right to it. It’s a practical life. We like being in Bali; it has its own rhythm that suits how we do things. Shanti Nagar is a decent place to be located. We’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. We don't have any big plans to move or change things up. We just want to keep doing what we’re doing right here in the colony. It’s not a flashy existence, but it’s ours. We just keep at it and hope for the best every single day. That's really all there is to it.
