Down on Mandia Road in Gandhi Nagar, you’ll find us at number 777. It’s a pretty straightforward place. Mahendra Singh Chouhan is the name on the door, and we’ve been operating from this address for quite some time now. The neighborhood is a mix of all sorts of people and small businesses. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Our office is just a regular room with the usual stuff you’d expect like chairs and a table. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and the people who come by to talk to us. It can get a bit dusty out on Mandia Road sometimes when the wind picks up, but that’s just the way it is here. We don't have a big philosophy or some grand vision. We just want to make sure the work is finished by the time we lock up. It’s a small team, so everyone pitches in with everything. If the floor needs sweeping, one of us just does it. If someone needs help, we talk to them directly. It’s very simple. We’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around Gandhi Nagar pretty well over the years. It feels good to be part of a local area where things are predictable. We just keep moving forward, one day at a time, keeping things simple at 777. It works for us.
