Jyoti Kumar Sharma

I have been working from my spot on Ramdev Road for quite a long time now. It is a fairly busy street, and there is always some kind of traffic or people walking by to look at. My place isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a simple door with my name, Jyoti Kumar Sharma, on a small sign. Inside, it is mostly filled with books, papers, and the general clutter that comes with years of working in the same place. I don’t believe in having a very polished or corporate-looking office because that just isn't my style. I like things to be practical and within reach. Most of my mornings start with a cup of tea while I look over the things I need to get done for the day. Sometimes neighbors from Ramdev Road stop by just to chat for a minute, and I don't mind the distraction. It keeps the day from feeling too long. I handle all my own work, from answering the phone to filing the taxes. It is a one-man show for the most part. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor creaks a bit when I walk across it, but it is home to me. I have everything I need right here. I don't need a big mission statement or a fancy slogan. I just show up every day and do what needs to be done. It is an honest, quiet way to spend my time.
