I have been working here in Sojat City for a while now. My place is in Harliya Mali. Most days start early because the sun gets quite hot in this part of Rajasthan. People come by when they need something done. I don't have a big team or anything like that. It is just me usually, sometimes a helper if there is a lot of work piled up. The shop is not very fancy. It is a simple space with the tools I need. I spend a lot of time just organizing things and making sure I can find what the customers are looking for. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat for a bit while I am working on a project. We talk about the weather or how the market is doing lately. I try to keep things honest here. If I can do a job, I say yes. If I can't, I tell them that too. It’s better that way so nobody wastes their time. Living and working in the same area means you know everyone. You see the same faces every morning. I like that rhythm of life. It’s not a fast-paced corporate world. It is just a regular shop where work gets done. I try to stay busy. There is always something to clean or a small fix to make. I have lived in this area for years, so I know the roads and the shortcuts. It feels right to have a business here.
