Gulab Lal Meena

Gulab Lal Meena is based out of the Keshav Nagar area, right near Surajpole. It’s a lively part of the city where something is always happening on the streets outside. We don't have a big corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we handle our daily business. The office is pretty small and tucked away, so you have to keep an eye out for the turn-off when you are coming from the main road. We spend our time dealing with local requests and whatever work comes our way. It’s not a place with a lot of staff; just a few of us making sure things get done right. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just everyday work for everyday people. The furniture is simple and we’ve got a lot of files stacked up on the shelves against the walls. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but we clean it up eventually when we have a spare moment. We’ve been here long enough that most of the shopkeepers nearby know us by name and stop to say hello. It’s a friendly spot. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company or move to a bigger office. We just like being part of the community here in Keshav Nagar and doing our part. It’s a practical way to live and work.
