Life out here in Bali Khindawa is a bit slower than the city. My place is in Post Sewari, and it’s where I’ve spent most of my time. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s more like a room attached to the house where I keep my records and meet people. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello, not even for business. I’ve been doing this for years, mostly because it helps the folks around here. We deal with whatever comes up that day. There isn’t a strict schedule. If the power goes out, we just wait for it to come back or light a lamp. It’s a simple way of working. I don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where I am. You walk down the main road and ask for me, and anyone will point you the right way. The air is better here, even if the work is sometimes tough. I handle a lot of the paperwork myself. It’s important to get it right because people depend on it. My sons help out sometimes when they aren't busy with their own things. We aren't trying to be the biggest around. We just want to make sure the work is solid. It’s a good community to be a part of, and I plan on staying right here for as long as I can still work.
