Garima Impex

You can find Garima Impex at GB 387 on Mandia Road. It is a long stretch of road with lots of different businesses, and we are just one of the many warehouses along the way. We deal with importing and exporting various goods. It sounds like it might be a big, fancy operation, but it’s actually just a few of us working out of this unit. Most of our time is spent checking shipping labels and making sure everything is packed into the trucks correctly. The warehouse gets really hot during the summer months, so we usually have a few big fans blowing all day long. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just some calendars and duty rosters. It’s a functional space designed for work, not for looking pretty. We started out quite small and have gradually filled up every square inch of GB 387 with crates and pallets. Sometimes it’s hard to even walk through the aisles. We don’t have any corporate slogans or big missions. We just show up every morning, check the manifests, and get to work. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and phone calls to the shipping agents. We like the pace of it though. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when a container is late, but we always find a way to get it done. We’re just regular people doing a regular job and making sure the bills get paid.
