Duda Ram Choudhary

Our place is right on the Bali Sesali Road. It’s a straightforward spot to find if you’re driving along that way. Duda Ram Choudhary is the name on the door, though most people around here just know us by sight. It’s a bit dusty being so close to the road, but that’s just how it is in this area. We have a small setup here. It isn't one of those big fancy offices you see in the city. We have some wooden chairs and a table where we sit and talk to anyone who stops by. The sun can be quite strong in the afternoon, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to keep the heat out. Sometimes a stray dog will sit in the shade near the entrance. We handle the daily tasks as they come. There’s no big staff or anything like that, just a few of us making sure things get done. We don't use computers for everything; there’s still a lot of handwriting going on in our ledgers. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is always a good break for us. Life moves at its own pace here on the Sesali road. We don't feel the need to rush everything like they do in the big towns. It’s a simple life and a simple way of doing business. We’ve been here for years and the locals know the way to our door. We just keep things going.
