Dilip Singh Khangarat

Living or working on Kachehari Road means you get used to the noise and the constant movement of people headed to the offices. I spend most of my day right here, dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always something happening outside. Sometimes it’s hard to hear yourself think with all the traffic but you get used to it after a while. My setup isn't anything special, just a desk and some chairs and a lot of things to look after. People stop by for all sorts of reasons since this is such a central spot. I usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, even if it brings in some dust. It's a very local way of doing things, no big corporate vibes here at all. I know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well and we usually chat during the slow hours in the afternoon. Kachehari Road has a certain rhythm to it that you only understand if you stay here all day. I try to keep things simple and just handle my business as it comes. There’s always a list of tasks that seems to grow longer by the evening, but that’s just how it goes. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. It’s just me, Dilip Singh Khangarat, doing what needs doing in this little corner of the town every day.
