I work out of the Bali Lal Rai area, which is reached via Mundara. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big cities, but that suits me just fine. My setup here is quite modest. I deal with local matters and help people around the community with whatever they need. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a glass building or a shiny sign. Most of the folks who come by are neighbors or people from the surrounding villages. I spend a lot of time on my porch or in the small room I use as an office. The pace of life here is slower, and that’s reflected in how I do things. I don't use much technology besides my phone and an old ledger. Most business is done face-to-face over a cup of tea. It’s a practical way to live and work. Sometimes the roads can be rough, especially after it rains, so getting supplies or meeting people takes a bit longer than expected. I’ve lived in this region for a long time, so I know the land and the people well. There’s no need for big speeches or fancy titles here. We just get the day’s work done and look forward to the evening. It’s an honest way to spend the hours. I don't plan on moving anywhere else; this is home and this is where I do my business. Usually, people just stop by when they see my light on in the evening.
