Riddhi Handicrafts

Riddhi Handicrafts is tucked away at Shop No. 8 in Building No. 8 in Venkateshwara Nagar. We are on Cabin Road in Bhayandar East, which is a place that never really stays quiet. The shop is full of all sorts of small things we’ve gathered. We spend a lot of time dusting off the items on the shelves because the road outside gets quite dusty with all the traffic. It’s a small space, so you have to be careful when you walk around so you don’t knock anything over. We get a lot of people coming in who are just curious about the crafts. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just put things in the window and hope people like what they see. Some of the stuff is made by hand, so no two pieces are exactly the same, which is what makes it interesting. The building itself is an older one, and Shop 8 has its own little quirks, like the door that squeaks if you don't pull it just right. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the noise from Cabin Road. It’s a tight squeeze when more than three people are in the shop at once, but we make it work. It’s just a local spot for people who like looking at interesting bits and pieces for their homes without having to go to a big mall.
