Castle Engineering

We are located at 26 Tirurkad Road in Mankada. It’s a straightforward engineering shop. We don’t have any fancy lobby or a bunch of salespeople. Most of what we do involves metal, machines, and getting our hands dirty. The shop stays open pretty late most days because there is always something that needs finishing. Mankada is a small enough place where people mostly know who is doing what. We handle various mechanical jobs. Sometimes it’s fixing a part for a neighbor, other times it’s a bigger project for a local business. We have a few old machines that still work better than the new ones. It’s loud in the workshop when everything is running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We don't spend time on the computer unless we absolutely have to for taxes or ordering parts. Most of our time is spent on the floor. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots on it. That’s just the way it is here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and lasts a long time. If you’re on Tirurkad Road, you can’t miss the sound of the shop. We’ve been here a good while and plan to stay. It’s just honest engineering work that needs to be done. We take it one day at a time here. It's a living.
