Anugraga Tiles & Granites is situated in Kolinjaparai. A good way to find us is to look for the Devaraj Theatre, because we’re right opposite it. It’s a busy spot, especially when a new movie is playing and there are crowds of people across the way. Our yard is filled with stacks of tiles and large slabs of granite. It’s a heavy business, quite literally. We spend a lot of time moving things around with the forklift or just by hand when we have to. The tiles come in all sorts of colors, and they’re stacked up high in the warehouse area. It’s dusty work, and we usually have some sand on the floor. People from the Kolinjaparai area come to us when they are doing up their floors or kitchens. We don't have a glossy catalog or a sales team. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them how much it is. It’s very direct. Sometimes we’re busy loading a truck for a delivery, and other times we’re just sitting and waiting for the next person to walk in. Being across from the Devaraj Theatre means we always have something to look at during the quiet times. We’ve been here for a while and we just keep doing what we do. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a local tile shop where we work hard and keep things moving, even when the sun is beating down on the yard.
