Amrita Vidyalayam

We have been here in Kottekkad for quite a while now. The school is right on Venoli Road, and it gets pretty busy in the mornings when parents drop off their kids. We have teachers who have been with us for years. Palakkad weather can be really hot, but the campus has a few trees that give some shade. We just try to keep things running smoothly every day without too much fuss. It is not always quiet, especially during the lunch breaks when everyone is out and about. We see the same faces every day, and that is a nice thing about being in a place like this. Some of our old students even come back to visit us after they have finished college. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids actually learn something useful. The building is a bit older, but we keep it as clean as we can. You will find us easily enough near the post office area. People around here know us well because we have been part of the neighborhood for so long. It is just a regular school where we work hard. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit messy, but we manage. We are not doing anything fancy, just teaching. The staff room is usually full of notebooks waiting to be graded. We like being part of the community here in Palakkad. Seeing the kids grow up is the best part of the job.
