Colour Bars

We are based over in Rohini, specifically in Block E 1, Plot No 30 in Sector 16. It’s a pretty standard spot for this part of Delhi. The building is one of those multi-story structures where everyone is doing something different on every floor. Our space is mostly taken up by the machines and the long tables we use for sorting through everything. There is always a faint smell of ink and paper in the air, which you stop noticing after the first ten minutes. The lighting is bright because we need to see what we are doing, but it can get a bit tiring on the eyes by five o'clock. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon break. The street outside is usually busy with people moving back and forth, and parking is always a bit of a nightmare if you arrive late in the morning. We have some old metal shelves that hold all the supplies, and they tend to rattle a bit when the heavy printers are running. It is not the quietest place to work, but it feels productive in a messy, real-world way. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we are usually too busy trying to get the latest batch of work out the door before the sun goes down and the traffic gets even worse.
