Our office is tucked away in the basement of the Shopping Park Mall, right next to the Shalimar Bagh Club. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re not looking for it, but we like the quiet down here. It gives us space to actually think and get things organized. We handle a lot of different events, mostly for folks around Shalimar Bagh who know us. Being in the mall means we’re always around people, even if we are downstairs. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. It didn't start with a big plan, just a few of us who were good at putting things together. We aren't the type to wear suits and have long meetings. Most of our work happens on our feet, moving chairs or talking to vendors. We deal with all the small stuff that people usually forget until the last minute. It can be stressful when a deadline is coming up, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We just take one thing at a time. Sometimes the air conditioning in the basement acts up, or the lights flicker, but we make it work. It’s a real business run by real people who live in the neighborhood. We don’t use any fancy scripts when we talk to you. We just want to know what you need so we can figure out how to help you get it done without any fuss.
