About Waves Magazine – Event & Planning in North West Delhi
This is the place where we put Waves Magazine together. It’s at AD-3A in Pitam Pura, in a spot that’s actually part of a residential area. We’ve set things up in the care of Akash Sharma. It’s not a big corporate building with a glass front. Instead, it’s a more personal space where we can focus on the writing and the layout. We have boxes of the latest issue stacked up near the door and a few old computers that have seen better days. Pitam Pura is a bustling neighborhood, so there’s always something going on nearby. The office itself is quite small, so it feels a bit cramped when more than three or four of us are here at once. We don’t have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer it. There’s usually a lot of paper everywhere—drafts of articles, photos, and sticky notes with ideas. We drink a lot of tea while we argue about which photo looks better on the cover. It’s a very real, unpolished way of working. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to take a break. We don’t care about looking professional in the traditional sense. We just want to get the magazine out on time. It’s a bit of a mess, but it’s where we work every day.
