Wadhwa Departmental Store

Wadhwa Departmental Store is located at 2841 Rani Bagh, right at the Sant Ngr Chowk. It’s a busy corner in Delhi and there is always something happening outside the window. We’ve been operating this store for years, and it has become a bit of a habit for me. We carry a whole range of household items, groceries, and some personal care products. The shelves are packed pretty tight because we try to fit as much as possible into the space we have. It’s a 110034 area which is always crowded, so we get a lot of foot traffic. I usually have a couple of boys helping me move the heavy sacks and restock the shelves. We don’t have any big corporate rules here. We just try to be helpful when someone can’t find the right kind of detergent. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise, but it still keeps the place cool enough during the Delhi summers. I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the shop stays mostly the same. We have a lot of plastic containers and steel vessels too, not just food. It is a bit messy at times, especially when a new shipment arrives and boxes are everywhere. But we eventually get it sorted. It’s just a honest, busy shop in a busy part of town. We do our work and go home, simple as that.
