Tesco

Being at B 148 Oriental Apartments, it feels more like a home than a big corporate office. We are Tesco, but we are tucked away here in Delhi. The apartment building is a bit older, so you get that lived-in feeling as soon as you walk through the main gate. Our space is on one of the floors, and we try to keep things tidy, though papers tend to pile up near the printer. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. It’s 110085, which is a busy part of the city, but inside the flat, it stays fairly calm. We have a few desks set up in what used to be the living room. It's a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but it works. The kitchen is where we keep our lunch boxes. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest just gets up to answer it. Delhi summers are tough here because the AC in the back room is a bit noisy, but we deal with it. We handle the Tesco work that comes our way every day. It’s just us doing our jobs in a quiet corner of the city. We’ve got a view of some trees from the balcony, which is nice when you need a break from the screen.
