Raj Bhature Wala

We open the shutters early every morning at G/40 in Netaji Subhash Place. It gets busy around here when the oil gets hot and the first batches of chole are ready to be served. Most people around the block know us as Raj Bhature Wala. We’ve been here in Pitampura for a good while now. It’s a small place, nothing fancy at all, just a few plastic tables and the constant sound of frying. We don't do much else besides the bhature because that is what we know. It keeps us busy enough from dawn till late afternoon. Some days the dough is just right and fluffy, other days we're really rushing to keep up with the lunch crowd that spills out onto the pavement. We just focus on getting the plates out as they come. Our address is G/40, right in the thick of the market area. We see a lot of office folks and students coming through for a quick bite. It's noisy and can get a bit messy but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. My cousin helps me with the cleaning and the billing while I handle the counter and the cooking. We don't have a website or anything, just this physical spot. Sometimes we run out of stuff by three in the afternoon if it’s been a good day. It is what it is. We try to keep things simple. You'll find us here every day except for some holidays. Just a local shop doing what we know.
