The building at A-23/1 in the Lawrene Road Industrial Area is where we spend most of our time. It’s an older part of the city, and you can tell by the state of the roads. Parmanand And Sons has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. In the mornings, the traffic around the industrial area gets pretty thick with trucks and tempos. We mostly deal with food products, so there is always a lot of movement on the ground floor. It smells like grain and sometimes spices depending on what’s being moved that day. We have a small office section where the light isn't great, but it does the job. Most of the staff has been here for many years. We aren't really into the modern corporate vibe with glass walls and fancy coffee machines. We have a kettle in the corner and a few old fans that make a lot of noise when it gets hot. The stairs are narrow and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but work gets done. We focus on the orders and making sure everything is labeled correctly before it goes out. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s cooler. It is a practical place. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to open the door for you. If you come by, you’ll likely see us busy with some registers or checking the inventory in the back. That’s just how it is here.
