Parkash Handloom Emporium

You can find Parkash Handloom Emporium in Rohini, specifically at Shop No 353 in Block No 7. We are situated in Sector 16, within Pocket G. This neighborhood is always moving, and our shop is tucked right into the middle of that daily flow. When you walk inside, you will see piles of fabrics and handloom items stacked up on the shelves. It is not a huge space, but we make the most of every inch we have. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, and the air smells like cotton and fresh textiles. We spend a lot of time unfolding things to show people and then folding them back up again. It is repetitive work, but there is something nice about the feel of the cloth. The shop has been here in Block 7 for a good while, so we know many of the people who live in the surrounding pockets of Rohini. We open up in the morning and stay until the street gets quiet at night. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. We keep a small desk near the front for the accounts and a wooden stool for when we need a break. It is a humble shop where we focus on the goods we have on hand. People stop by to chat as much as they do to look at the handlooms, which makes the days go by a little faster.
