Alisha Carpet Rugs is over in Nehru Place. We are at number 619. If you know Nehru Place, you know it is always packed with people and electronics. Our shop is just one small part of that big maze. We have been here at 619 for a while. The space is filled with rugs and carpets from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit hard to move around sometimes because we have so much stock. But we like it that way. It feels like a real workshop and store. We don't have any fancy displays or sales staff in suits. It’s just us. We spend our days rolling and unrolling carpets for whoever walks in. It is dusty work but someone has to do it. Nehru Place is a noisy place to be, but inside 619, it smells like wool and old fabrics. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in this building, but Alisha Carpet Rugs stays put. We just keep doing what we do. We don't go in for big advertisements or social media tricks. Most people find us by walking through the corridors of Nehru Place. It is a simple business run by regular people. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just sell carpets and rugs from our little spot in the city and hope the customers are happy.
