We run Jain Corner Art And Craft over in Rajapur Market in Rohini. The shop is at number 153 and we are right opposite the Sangam Apartments in Sector 9. It’s a pretty busy market area and we have been here for a while now. Our shelves are always overflowing with different supplies for school projects and hobbies. Sometimes it feels like there isn’t enough room for everything we want to put out. I spend a lot of my morning just trying to make sense of the new stock that comes in. Rajapur is a lively place to be. You get a lot of families from the apartments coming over to pick up things for their kids. We aren’t a big fancy showroom or anything. It’s just a regular local shop where things are piled up a bit high. Sometimes the floor gets a little messy with bits of paper or tape but we try to sweep it when we can. Working in Sector 9 means we see the same faces quite often which is nice. I usually sit near the front so I can see people coming across the road from Sangam Apartments. It’s not a complicated business. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. If you need something for a craft project we probably have it buried somewhere in one of our many drawers or boxes in the back.
