Pal Garments

You can find us at House Number 595 in Gali Number 5 of Vikash Enclave. It’s in the Kirari area, specifically Prem Nagar-III. Our shop is right in the middle of a tight street where everyone knows everyone else. Sewing machines go most of the day and there are always piles of fabric scraps on the floor. We make and sell garments, mostly simple things that people in the neighborhood need for daily wear. It’s a lot of cutting, stitching, and checking the seams. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with lights or glass. It’s just a regular door and some racks of clothes inside. Sometimes the light in the Gali is a bit dim, but enough lamps are kept inside so we can see what we are doing. We’ve been here for a long time and seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. People come in to get things fixed or to buy something new for a festival. We have to work fast when there is a lot of work piled up, especially during the wedding season when everyone is in a hurry. It’s hard on the back sitting at those machines all day, but it’s what we do. We aren't a big factory, just a local garment place making things one piece at a time. The neighbors stop by just to chat sometimes while we work.
