Managing Consortium

We operate out of Neel Kanth Apartments, which is Plot 49 in Sector 13 of Rohini, Delhi. It is a residential block, so our setup is quite modest and quiet. We function as a consortium, which basically means a bunch of different interests coming together to manage things. Our office is at number 164, and it is a place where we sit down to discuss plans and look over various contracts. Being in Rohini means we are tucked away from the main chaos of central Delhi, which is nice for actually getting work done. The space is filled with desks and a lot of folders. We do not have a receptionist or a big lobby; you just come in and we are there working. A lot of our day is spent coordinating between different partners. It can be a bit of a headache when everyone has a different opinion, but we usually manage to find a middle ground. We have been here for a while and the building is very familiar to us. The elevator is a bit slow, but we do not mind much. We focus on the practical side of management without trying to make it sound more complicated than it really is. It is about making sure the projects we are involved in actually move forward. We drink a lot of tea and spend time on the computer. (244 words)
