Karmet Engineering is situated at 572/659/9-14 in Bilekahalli, right off Bannerghatta Road. If you’ve ever been stuck in the traffic out that way, you know exactly where we are. Our spot is a bit set back from the main noise of the road, which is nice. We do various engineering tasks, mostly focusing on things that require a bit of precision. The office and the work area are kind of blended together, so there’s always a mix of computer work and physical assembly going on. We have some decent space here, but it fills up fast when we have a few projects running at once. Most of the staff has been here for years, and we’ve seen the whole area change from being a bit empty to very crowded. We don't have a receptionist or anything formal. Usually, you just walk in and someone will look up from what they're doing to say hello. There’s a lot of metal scrap in the bins and blueprints rolled up on the tables. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to build things. The rain can be a bit of a pain when the yard gets muddy, but we deal with it. It’s just a normal engineering firm trying to keep things moving day by day. We don't need fancy signs to show what we do.
