You can find Humboldt Wedag India Pvt.Ltd. over at Sai Apartments in Sector-13, Rohini. We’re in Plot No-47, specifically E-32. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the center of New Delhi. Working out of an apartment building gives it a different feel. It’s more relaxed, almost like being at home but with more computers and blueprints. We take the lift up and settle in for the day. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is a blessing in a city like this. The rooms are filled with desks and we’ve converted the main areas into workspace. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff for the company here. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the small kitchen. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. It’s just where we do our business. Sometimes we hear the neighbors’ kids or someone moving furniture upstairs, but we’re used to it. The Sector-13 area has everything we need, so we don't have to go far for lunch or supplies. It’s a practical way to run things. We aren't big on corporate rules or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get through the tasks we have for the week. It’s a simple setup for a lot of hard work, and we like it that way.
