About Event Souk – Event & Planning in North West Delhi
If you go to Netaji Subhash Palace in Pitampura and take the lift up to the 1202, that is where we are. We call ourselves Event Souk because it felt like a good name for what we do, which is basically sourcing everything needed for a party or a function. We've got a lot of contacts for decorators, furniture rentals, and all those small things that people forget they need until the last minute. Our office in NSP is where we keep all our notes and catalogs. It’s a busy building with a lot of other businesses, but we like the energy there. We started this because we saw how much stress people were under when they had to organize something. We aren't fancy planners with clipboards and suits; we are more the types to be on the phone constantly making sure the truck arrives on time. Pitampura is a great base for us because we can get to most parts of the city fairly easily from here. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s a lot of legwork and back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the days are long, especially when there’s a big event coming up on the weekend. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the items delivered and set up correctly for whoever is hosting. We make mistakes sometimes, but we always try to make it right before the guests show up.
