Divya Creation

If you come to Sector-11 in Rohini, you will find us at B-2/6. It is a residential-looking area but there are a lot of small businesses like ours tucked into the buildings. Divya Creation is basically a few rooms filled with fabric and sewing machines. We have been here long enough that the neighbors do not mind the noise anymore. There are always rolls of cloth leaning against the walls. We try to keep it neat, but when we are busy, things get a bit messy. Threads end up on everyone’s clothes. My aunt started this place and we just kept it going. It is not a big corporate setup. We do not have a reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there working on a piece. We talk a lot while we work. It is mostly about family or what is happening in Rohini. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost because the numbering in Sector-11 can be confusing. We usually have to step outside to wave them down. We do not have a big sign out front. People who need us usually know where we are. It is a quiet life, mostly. We just focus on getting the stitching right and making sure the colors match. It is what we know how to do. Some days are long, especially before festivals. But we like the work. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
