We are based at number 9 in the Printing Press Area. As you can probably guess from the name of the place, there is a lot of industrial activity going on around here all day. We work on large-scale designs and exhibits. Our space feels more like a warehouse than a typical office. There is always a lot of noise from machines and people moving heavy things around. We spend our time building structures that go into big exhibitions. It is heavy, physical work. We have large tables for layouts and plenty of space for the wood and metal we use. The air usually smells like fresh paint or sawdust. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. If you come by, you will see the actual work happening right there on the floor. Most of our guys have been doing this for years, so they know exactly what they are doing. We do not really bother with corporate lingo or fancy titles. We just focus on whether the structure is solid and if it looks the way the client wants it to look. It can get pretty hot in the summer since it is a large open space, but we just keep at it. We have handled a lot of big shows from this spot. It is a practical environment for people who like to build things with their hands. We just take the orders and get to work.
