Bikanervala Food Pvt Ltd is located over at A-28 in the Lawrence Road Industrial Area. Being in an industrial area means things are a bit different than a regular retail shop you see on the high street. It is a lot of big trucks and warehouses around us. Our place is basically a big production unit with a lot going on. We have a lot of machines and a big team of people working in shifts throughout the day and night. It is not really a place where you would come to hang out or browse. It is where the actual work of making the food happens. The noise of the machinery is something you just get used to after a week or two. We have big loading docks and there is always a van or a truck pulling in to take stuff to the different outlets across the city. It is a busy atmosphere with people moving quickly. We don't have much of a decorated office, just plain desks and a lot of paperwork to keep track of the batches we produce. The workers here see each other every day in the middle of all this industrial stuff. It can be quite dusty outside with all the construction and traffic on Lawrence Road. Inside, we just keep the lines running as smoothly as we can. It is about getting the work done. We have been here at A-28 for a long time.
