Ashoka Engineers Works

Ashoka Engineers Works is located at 56/2, right near the Old Shiv Mandir in Vill. Begumpur. If you're looking for us, just find the temple and we are right there. It’s a noisy little workshop. We do a lot of metal work and repair jobs. You can usually hear the sound of welding or grinding from down the street. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren't all related. We’ve got grease on our hands and tools scattered across the benches. It’s not the tidiest place, but we know exactly where everything is. People from the village bring us all sorts of things that need fixing. We take on the small stuff and the bigger engineering tasks too. The building is old, and it gets a bit drafty in the winter, but we just keep the tea hot and the work moving. We don't have a receptionist. If you want something, you just walk in and find someone who isn't wearing a welding mask or holding a torch. We don't do much advertising. Most people just know us because we’ve been near the Mandir for years. We do what we can with the tools we have, and usually, it turns out alright. It’s just how we live and work in Begumpur. No frills, just plenty of sparks and heavy lifting. Sometimes we stay late to finish a repair for a neighbor. It’s just a honest way to spend the day in the village.
