The Fairyland Kindergarten School

Down here in Goa Velha, we operate The Fairyland Kindergarten School. We are based in the Aella Pegado Building. It’s a familiar landmark for people living in this part of Velha. The school isn't very large, which helps us keep an eye on all the little kids. We have a few rooms set up for the different age groups. In the mornings, you’ll hear the kids singing or playing games. It’s a lot of energy to deal with right from the start of the day. We spend time teaching them the basics, like letters and numbers, but they mostly like the drawing part. The building is solid and stays relatively cool even when the Goa sun is out. We have some local ladies who help with the cleaning and looking after the kids during their breaks. Parents usually walk over or drop the kids off on their way to work. We’ve been here in the Aella Pegado Building for some time, so we know the families in the neighborhood quite well. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy technology, just the usual toys, books, and charts on the walls. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone is trying to talk at once. We just handle it as it comes. It’s a nice environment for the children to start their schooling before they move on to the bigger primary schools. We just do our best to keep them happy and learning.
