Karma Foods

Karma Foods is based out in Chicalim, which is part of the Mormugao area. We are actually located at C/O Karma Auto Park. It’s an interesting spot because you have all the food stuff right next to the auto business. It makes for a busy atmosphere with a lot of different people coming through. We handle various food products here. The salt air from the coast sometimes drifts in, which is a nice change from the usual office smells. Chicalim is a bit quieter than some other places, but we stay busy enough. Our days are filled with checking inventory and making sure everything is stored at the right temperature. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes we help out with things at the auto park if they are shorthanded, and they do the same for us. It’s a friendly way to run things. The space we have is functional. It’s mostly shelves and a small desk where we keep the books. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us. It’s a simple life working here in Mormugao. We just focus on the food and making sure the orders are ready when they need to be. The sun can get quite hot in the afternoon, but we have enough shade to stay comfortable while we work.
