Hindustan Foods Ltd.

Usgao is where we are located. It’s an area that has grown a lot over the years with different factories popping up. Hindustan Foods Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for a while now. It is a big building with a lot of noise coming from the machinery inside. We process a lot of different food items here. It is a lot of logistics, with trucks pulling into the yard at all hours of the day and night. The staff here mostly comes from the surrounding villages. We have a canteen where everyone grabs a bite during the break, and it’s usually the loudest part of the day. The floors are concrete and we have to keep them very clean because of the food. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of paperwork involved in tracking batches and making sure things are shipped out on time. The weather in Usgao can get very humid, which makes the work in the warehouse feel a bit heavier. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the lobby. It’s just a place of work. People know us as one of the bigger employers in this part of the region. We just focus on getting the orders filled and making sure the machines are running properly. It’s a repetitive cycle, but it keeps the place going. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the local landscape, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same day after day.
