Hotel Fidalgo

I have been working here at Hotel Fidalgo for a few years now. The building is right on 18th June Road, which gets really crowded around noon every single day. Most of us start the day early, checking the lobby area and making sure things are ready for whoever walks in. It is a busy spot in Panjim, so there is always noise from the street, cars honking, and people walking by with shopping bags. We don't really do anything too fancy, just the regular stuff you would expect. The rooms need cleaning, the kitchen gets started on breakfast, and the security guy out front has his hands full with the parking situation. Maberest Hotels runs the place, but to us, it is just the daily grind. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is too hot and nobody wants to be outside. We spend a lot of time just chatting near the desk when there are not many check-ins to handle. It is a solid building and has been here a while. You see the same faces around the neighborhood every day, like the shopkeepers next door and the regulars who stop by for coffee. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up or a lightbulb goes out when you least expect it. It is just how a hotel runs. There is always something that needs fixing or a guest who has a specific question. We just handle it as it comes.
