Hct College

Our college is situated near the Sfx School in the Novo Portugal area of Moira. If you know Bardez in Goa, you know it’s a bit different from the touristy coastal spots. It’s much greener and quieter here, which is good for a place of learning. The building is simple and fits right into the local landscape. We have classrooms that get plenty of natural light, though we rely on the fans quite a bit during the hotter months. The sound of birds and the occasional scooter passing by is about as loud as it gets outside. Inside, it’s a different story with students moving between classes and the general chatter of people studying. We aren’t a massive institution with thousands of people. It feels more like a community where everyone eventually knows everyone else's name. We deal with the usual school stuff—schedules, exams, and keeping the facilities running. The monsoon season is always an adventure with the heavy rains hitting the roof, making it hard to hear anything for a while. We don't have a fancy entrance or a huge staff, just a dedicated group of people trying to keep things organized for the students. It’s a peaceful place to work and study, away from the main city rush. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep everything moving smoothly in this little corner of Goa.
