Dnyan Prassarak Mandals College

Our college is located up in Mapusa, Goa. It’s been here for quite some time, and most people in the area know the name Dnyan Prassarak Mandals. We aren't near the beaches where all the tourists go; we’re more in the actual town where people live and work. The campus has a bit of age to it, which we don't mind. It feels lived-in and comfortable. We have students coming in from all over the North Goa district. The halls are usually full of people chatting between their lectures. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a bunch of us trying to keep the academic schedule on track. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when exams are coming up. We deal with the usual stuff like broken fans or missing chalk. It’s all part of the job. The staff room is usually where the real planning happens over some snacks. We don't go in for fancy slogans. We just provide the classes that the students need to get their degrees. It’s a local institution, and we take pride in being a steady part of the Mapusa community. Nothing here is too formal. We just get on with the business of running the college and making sure the students have a place to sit and learn without any extra trouble.
