Tanzil Art & Film Association

Our association is tucked away in Maujpur, specifically at C-35/4 near the Radha Krishna Mandir. If you hear the temple bells, you’re in the right spot. We focus on art and film, though most days it just looks like a lot of people sitting around discussing scripts or looking at old footage. The space in Mohan Puri is where we gather to plan things out. It’s not a big studio or anything, just a room with some basic equipment and a lot of ideas. Sometimes we host small screenings or workshops. It can get pretty cramped when everyone shows up at once. We started this because there wasn't really a place for creative types in this part of town. We deal with all the practical stuff too, like permits and finding locations nearby. It’s a lot of manual work, moving cameras and setting up lights. We aren't trying to be famous or anything, we just like making things. The walls are covered in old posters and notes from previous projects. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out. It’s a bit messy, and there’s always coffee cups everywhere, but it’s our space. We just take it one day at a time, working on whatever project comes our way. It's just us doing what we know in our little corner of the city.
