India International Center For Arts

The India International Center For Arts is located right at H.No 202 in Block C-5 of Yamuna Vihar. We are based in Delhi, and this is a residential block where we’ve set up our space for art and culture. It’s not a massive museum or a cold gallery space. Instead, it’s a house where things happen. We’ve been here for a bit, trying to keep the arts alive in our own way. Yamuna Vihar is a settled neighborhood, and being in Block C-5 means we are surrounded by families and local shops. Our building is easy enough to spot once you get into the right lane. Inside, it’s all about the work we do. We don’t have a big corporate board or fancy brochures. We just open our doors for people who are interested in what we’re doing. Sometimes we have meetings, other times it’s just us organizing files and planning future sessions. It’s a very practical environment. We use simple English and talk to people like they are our neighbors, because many of them are. There’s no pretense here. We just care about the arts and having a place to host our activities. It gets a bit crowded sometimes when we have people over, but that’s the charm of a local center. We’re just a small part of the Delhi art scene, working out of a regular house in Yamuna Vihar, keeping things honest and simple.
