J M Art & Craft

Being over here in Rajiv Nagar, specifically at B-171/4, means we get a lot of local folks stopping in. J M Art & Craft is mostly just shelves and shelves of whatever we could fit inside. We’ve got all sorts of stuff like different sized brushes, those little tubes of acrylic paint, and big sheets of chart paper that always seem to get a bit crinkled at the edges if we aren't careful. East of Loni Road is a busy spot, so there’s always something going on outside our door. Sometimes kids come in after school looking for things for their projects, and the shop gets a bit cramped. We try to keep it organized but honestly, when a shipment of new beads or clay comes in, it just ends up in a pile for a while until we find a spot for it. The walls are covered in bits of tape and old posters. It’s not some big showroom, just a place where you can find what you need for a hobby or a school assignment. We spend a lot of time counting out small items or cutting wire to the right length. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially with the wood pieces and dry pigments. We just open up in the morning and stay until the street gets quiet. It’s a simple life here, just surrounded by colors and craft supplies all day long.
